The Cub Scout Salute The seventh step on the path to earning your Bobcat Badge is to know the Cub Scout Salute and what it means. You salute with your right arm. Your first two fingers should be raised and pressed together. Bring them to the brim of your cap, or to your right eyebrow if you are not wearing a hat. Saluting is a way to show respect. You show respect to the Flag, or to your den leaders.( Look at the picture next to the Pack 233 logo )
