The Cub Scout Handshake The fifth step on the path to earning your Bobcat Badge is to know the Cub Scout handshake and what it means. The Cub Scout handshake is given with your right arm just like a normal handshake, but you put your first two fingers along the inside of the other boy's wrist. The two fingers on the wrist show that you help other people, and that you obey the law of the pack.
